Rio Breaks: Documentary about surf culture in Rio

A lil' review by The Guardian, and the teaser is below. Looks good!
The market for surfing movies may be nearing saturation, but I hope there's room for this: the story of the vibrant surfing scene on Arpoador beach, in Rio de Janeiro, far from the glamour of Ipanema and Copacabana, and near to the Favela do Pavao ghetto. Here, street kids flock to the beach learn how to surf. Surfing – with the promise of becoming a professional and getting sponsorship – is getting bigger and bigger in Rio, and Brazilian surfers are becoming international players. For some, it's a serious route out of the ghetto and a happy alternative to the brutal, bloody business of drug-running which must end in an early, violent death. This is a happy movie with a swing to it, and a corrective to the fetishisation and glamorisation of gangsterism that sometimes characterises movies about Rio.
